Murphy's Law: "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong." Or is it just Satan not wanting Mom and I to go to Tulsa for the woman's conference? We drove her car Friday night since we figured it to be more reliable! HA HA!!! We stopped by Wal-Mart on our way home to pick up the laundry soap and toilet paper to take to the conference the next morning. Of course, when we came out the car wouldn't start! Jon had to come pick us up! (Of course he was asleep since it was about 11:30p.m.!) We thought that we would check back in the morning and see if the car would start. If so, we would take it back to my house and have Jon check it out. If not, Mom would have it towed to my house and then Jon could check it out. The car still didn't start.
When we got back from Tulsa Saturday evening the car still wouldn't start. It sounded like it wanted to, but just wouldn't give in.
Mom called AAA and the tow truck came.
This guy must have some kind of magic touch that we didn't, because he got in the car, turned the key and, wouldn't you know it..... the car started!! Of course!
Just wait it gets better! So Mom gets in her car to drive back to my house and I get in my car to drive home and what do you think happened? My car wouldn't start!!!!! What in the world?!?!?
I am SO thankful that Jon has some knowledge of cars! He figured out what the problem was with Mom's car and had it fixed in no time! Seriously, less than an hour!!
After he finished with Mom's car we went to Wal-Mart to check out his car. (The one we ended up taking to Tulsa.) Guess what....... It started!!!
