O Christmas Tree

We were quite late with getting our Christmas tree up this year. With so much going on, there just wasn't time to go get one. It has always been our tradition to go and cut our tree down. Until we moved to Oklahoma, that is. We haven't been able to find a tree farm here that does that. (Until someone clued me in yesterday!) So...instead of heading to a tree farm, we headed to...
Yes, Lowe's... This isn't really my favorite idea for buying a Christmas tree, but it's all we had.
The trip to Lowe's was fairly comical. Why?
Because this is the selection we had to choose from! Not much! I couldn't help but laugh!
Luke thought it was great to run around and play on the empty shelves.
Abby found the tree she loved! :)
And this is the one we ended up with.
Ready to go!Here is the finished product! It's not my favorite tree, but it gets the job done and the kids love it!
Now that we know of a tree farm that's not too far away, maybe we can get back to tradition next year!

I think the tree looks good! I did laugh when I saw the selection you had to chose from. Very funny!! I understand how you feel about breaking tradition. I can't remember ever having experiencing such a thing!! You will learn to be more flexible!!! HA! HA! HA!
